Suas fotos são obras de arte, com riqueza de elementos e conceitos. Você se considera apenas um fotógrafo?
Eu acho que eu sou mais artista do que fotógrafo. Minha formação em fotografia é muito pouca, nunca estudei ou fiz cursos, trabalho em estúdio tem dois anos, antes disso nunca tinha ligado um flash, aprendi na pratica.
Trabalhei com muitas linguagens, comecei escrevendo poesia, depois passei a compor musica, fui estudar canto, fiz faculdade de Rádio e TV, quis ser apresentador, enfim foi um caminho natural, mas que ao mesmo tempo foi extremamente responsável pela minha bagagem. Acho que o meu trabalho é uma síntese de tudo isso, erros e acertos como todo mundo tem na vida, mas o fundamental foi ter entrado de cabeça em tudo o que eu fiz.
Qual a quantidade de pessoas envolvidas em um trabalho, em média?
Três pessoas. Eu, meu assistente e um maquiador.
Qual é o equipamento/máquina dos sonhos?
Acho que adoraria ter vários equipamentos que hoje eu não tenho, mas acho importante ter a consciência de que a câmera é só uma ferramenta. Quando produzi minha primeira exposição da coleção Brasileiros, fotografei com uma Canon 20D e até hoje olho o material e não consigo acreditar que tinha usado aquela câmera, o diferencial foi o quanto me dediquei naquele projeto, o encontro com as pessoas, a conversa e a direção de pessoas que nunca tinham posado para uma foto.
Cite uma foto consagradada que você gosta.
Não sei. Eu vejo muito material o tempo todo, nunca fui muito disso, banda favorita, música favorita, sempre fiquei meio em cima do muro nessa hora.

We started the week with a special interview with the photographer Gabriel Wickbold of São Paulo - Brazil.
Your photos are works of art with a wealth of information and concepts. Do you consider yourself just a photographer?
I think I'm more artist than photographer. My background in photography is very little, never studied or did courses, studio work has two years before that had never turned a flash, I learned in practice.
I worked with many languages, started writing poetry, then I started composing music, then I was studying music, went to college for Radio and TV, wanted to be a presenter at last was a natural way, but at the same time was very responsible for my luggage. I think my work is a synthesis of all this trial and error as everyone has in life, but the key was entered headlong into everything I did.
How many people involved in work on average?
Three people, I, my assistant and a makeup artist.
What is the equipment / machine of dreams?
I would love to have several devices that I have today, but I think important to be aware that the camera is only a tool. When producing my first exposure of the Brasileiros Collection, photographed with a Canon 20D and still look at the material and I can not believe he had used that camera, the difference was how much I've been involved in that project, meeting with people, conversation and the direction of people who had never posed for a photo.

I do not know. I see a lot of stuff all the time, I was never very much, favorite band, favorite song, I was a little on the fence this time.
